NOTICE RE: DSP9612 MODEMS

The DSP9612 family of products has component availability issues and consequent long and unpredictable production delays.  However the newer DSP19.2 family of products are readily available.  Many of our  customers like the DSP9612 units and are reluctant to change.  We want to dispel any concerns about upgrading to the DSP19.2 units.

The DSP19.2FP modem is the only 19200 bps fast poll modem in the market today with the training time of under 18 ms. The DSP9612FP has a training time of 23 ms and only operates at half the speed.

We have added the support for 100% compatibility with the DSP9612, plus the addition of 2400 bps.

The DSP19.2 not only will operate over voice band leased lines, it also is an exceptional line driver for private lines with operating distance up to 20+ miles.

We hope our loyal DSP9612 customers will try the newer, more readily available DSP19.2 product line.
