DCE Express now offers 2 solutions for extending a T1 demarc over copper.
The first solution is our own DCE-CopperT T1 Extender. This 4-wire T1 Extender is shown below:

These devices use repeater technology to extend a T1 Demarc to distances up to 5,000 feet.
The second solution we offer requires only 2 wires (a single twisted pair) to extend a T1 circuit. This innovative 2-wire solution from Patton Electronics extends 4-wire T1 circuits by converting T1 signalling for transport over DSL. Then a unit at the far end converts the DSL signalling back to T1.
The advantages of this solution is that…
(a) They work to greater distances (up to 3 miles) and
(b) They use less copper infrastructure…just a single twisted pair.
