The Data Connect ANS205 and the ANS208 switches solve the problem of having to use switches which are either too flimsy or too expensive. 

Ethernet Switches designed for home or office use, simply don't cut it in an industrial environment.  They aren't rugged enough, they aren't wall or DIN rail mountable and they are only rated to work at room temperatures.  So for industrial settings, an industrial switch is needed.  But industrial Ethernet switches are typically pricey. 

We now offer both 5 and 8 port industrial Ethernet switches that are very reasonably priced.
