The
USB 2.0 Ranger 440 USB extenders represent a significant milestone in
the USB market, supporting USB 2.0 peripheral devices at speeds up to
480 Mb/s over a distance of 50 meters (165 ft.). The USB 2.0 Ranger 440
is a four port, Class A device, which connects a host computer and
peripherals with standard Category 5 UTP cable. The Ranger 440 supports
low speed (USB 1.1), Full speed (USB 1.1) and Hi-Speed (USB 2.0)
devices. The Ranger 440 ships with a local and remote unit and a 5VDC
power adapter.
