We have worked on many customers' applications in the past and have recommended the Telenetics DSP9612 product. Since the time of its development in 1998, we sold many thousands of units. We shipped the DSP9612 product with minimal challenges until Telenetics went out of business in February 2007.

Engineers who designed the original Telenetics DSP9612 in 1998, began to design for DCE a new and improved DSP19.2 fast poll modem operating at 19200, 9600, 4800, 2400 and 1200 bps.

DCE announces that the Data Connect DSP 19.2 modem is successful operating at all speeds up to 9600 bps. The new DSP19.2 modem was also tested to be 100% compatible with the Telenetics' DSP9612 at 9600bps and below.  DCE begins to successfully shipping the DSP19.2 replacing the DSP9612 in early 2008.

Most DCE customers notice the increase response time from the new modems.  Many customers also found the additional features in the DSP19.2 modems to be very useful in their applications.

DCE announces the DSP19.2/19.2 operating at 19.2Kbps and below. DCE begins to successfully shipping the DSP19.2/19.2, which operates at 19200, 9600, 4800, 2400 and 1200 bps.
