The new USB 2.0 Icron Ranger 2101 ( Black Box IC253A ) and 2104 ( IC254A ) extenders represent a significant milestone in the USB market supporting USB 2.0 peripheral devices at speeds up to 480 Mb/s over a distance of 100m/330 ft, doubling the extension distance of 50m/165ft of the previous generation.

Powered by Icron's USB Extender technology, the USB 2.0 Icron Ranger 2101 ( Black Box IC253A ) supports a single device port; the USB 2.0 Icron Ranger 2104 ( IC254A ) supports four device ports via an integrated hub. Both solutions enable host computer and peripheral extension over standard Category 5 UTP cable.
